Matthew & Jennifer

Not every work week begins in a mansion that was built at the beginning of the 1900s, but for us our week began photographing these two lovely birds at the Branch Museum in Richmond Virginia. Our session was entirely wrapped up in this historic residence, first beginning in the great halls, then moving to the front courtyard, then to the grand library and finally finishing up in the expansive back garden of this historic property. The Engagement Highlight Film ...

Matt & Maria

The downtown area of Culpeper Virginia has come to life in the last several years, which is why when Matt & Maria mentioned their love for quant towns we immediately made plans to meet at the Raven's Nest on East Davis st. As soon as we grabbed our coffee's we headed out on our exploration adventure! St Stephen's Episcopal Church Thyme Market The State Theater A Christmas Tree Lot ...

Colin & Hayley

LOVE There's something rather sweet in the air this Christmas, and it happens to be quite the vibrant color. Love struck these two a while back and even as Hayley began her schooling in Richmond - a five hour drive from where they grew up - nothing has been able to keep them apart for long. Even upon meeting them for the first time, it was easy to sense the deep trust and commitment they have in their hearts for one-another. We booked their May 2016 wedding over great distance, so the opportunity to witness their love for each-other first hand didn't come until we drove down to Richmond Virginia a couple of weeks ago for their wilderness/Christmas themed engagement session. The session began...

Andrew & Ning

We first joined these two at Baked & Wired in Georgetown, Washington D.C. for an espresso and talked about their engagement, their lives together and the wedding that they're planning for next October. We immediately knew we wanted to work with them, after seeing them together. They're kind, loving, passionate and incredibly good in front of the camera, as is clearly seen below. Engagement Announcement Film. They didn't quite ask for this, but sometimes it's just impossible to not create when something good is in front of you. The Photographs After our first meeting we quickly booked and began planning out their engagement photo session for Georgetown and then at the Lincoln Memorial. This time we met at Snap, a sweet little coffee shop...

François & Caitlyn

Where shall we begin? Every artist, photographer & cinematographer has a picture-perfect couple in their heads. Ours are stylish, sincere, creative and most importantly genuinely & deeply in love with each other and the life that surrounds them. For us, François & Caitlyn are a perfect representation of that ideal. François is an adoring French-born gentleman and Caitlyn is an adorned Chinese-American woman, who are eagerly anticipating their 21st of August wedding. We began our day at the Fauquier Airfield just down the street from where Anchor Images calls home. By the time we arrived François was already soaring through the skies in this 1941 Stearman, and Caitlyn was awaiting our arrival. You see, François is an experienced pilot, so they arrived early and we...

Michael & Kaitlyn

We began the day with our usual Guatemalan french pressed coffee, loaded up the car, and hit the road with great expectations for what we were about to embark upon. After the three hour drive we found ourselves in the history steeped, quaint little town of Lexington, Virginia. There aren’t too many towns in Virginia with such a deep history as that of Lexington. Washington & Lee University and V.M.I. center themselves in this old world, mountain lined town. We enjoyed traversing it from beginning to end, finding some of the most beautiful little corners and coves. Washington & Lee beckoned the majority of our time, from their extravagant lawns, and true classic architecture, as well as the advent of the spring-time weather bringing forth the most...
